Business Horizons

Students

Starting a company and launching a new product at Business Horizons (BH) is not your typical class project. BH is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside Iowa professionals and students from across the state for one week to get a taste of entrepreneurship, learn valuable life lessons, and build upon those essential skills that are key for a successful future no matter your career path.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

Meet the Professionals

During the week you will hear from expert speakers, network with professionals and entrepreneurs, tour a company and work alongside Iowa business leaders.

Build Leadership & Teamwork Skills

Develop a strong team through team-building activities and a full schedule of challenges. It's up to your team to get things done, and up to you to define your role.

Prepare for Your Future

Learn tips like how to gain financial independence and what it takes to get a job after college. Business Horizons also looks great on a resume and college application!

Get Empowered

Work toward discovering your passions and strengths during the week. Business Horizons helps you learn to set goals for your future and recognize steps you need to take to accomplish them.
